Brodnica - Franciscan Monastery of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin in Brodnica:
The Franciscan monastery of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin stands by the road to Toruń and Grudziądz. Built in a Baroque style in the period 1752 – 1772 thanks to the efforts of Józef Pląskowski and his wife Rozalia. The monastery building constructed in 1769 is adjacent to the church. Crypts in which the deceased monks were buried are under the church. In 2003 the crypts. after renovation. were made available to visitors. In 1996 the church was granted the title of “the Sanctuary of St. Anthony”.
