the ruins of the castle in Radziki Duże:
The castle in Radziki Duże was constructed in the 1380-1384 period by the castellan of Dobrzyń. an ally of the Teutonic Order. The present condition of the castle in Radziki Duże is most probably the result of events from the turn of the 18th and 19th century when some of the castle bricks were used for construction purposes. Already in the pre-war period the ruin of the castle was used as a nucleus of a group of outbuildings. This function was fulfilled until a new manor was built by the old ruin. Then the castle became a part of farm buildings. The owners died during the second world war and the manor became a school while the castle was given to a Commune Cooperative.
