Brodnica - the Palace of Anne Vasa in Brodnica: It was erected in the period 1550-64 after the castle's fire using the sections of walls and buildings of the outer ward by the Brodnica starost Rafał Działyński. Redeveloped as a residence by Anne Vasa during her reign as a starost (1605-25). Further extension in the 1678-98 period. Burned down in 1945 and rebuilt in the period 1960-70 as a location for the local cultural facilities and libraries. Since 1986. after the cultural facilities moved. it also houses the Regional Museum Brodnica.
