Mszano - Roman-Catholic Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Mszano:
A neo-Gothic church constructed in 1906. some of its current equipment comes from older. now non-existent. churches. The grave of Józef Wybicki. the first Starosta of Pomerania in reinstituted Poland. and of his wife. is located at the local cemetery Krajowego Pomorskiego. By the River Drwęca. about 2km west of the centre of the village archaeologists discovered a Mesolithic settlement from about 10 000 ago where a population of hunters. fishermen and gatherers lived as well as the oldest human cemetery in the North European Plane that is about 8500 years old. Relicts of 8000 years old housing constructions were found. Reconstructed results of archaeologists' work can be seen at the Museum in Brodnica at ul. Jakuba 1.
