27.- Church of Santa María de Sebrayu
Romanesque church of the 13th century. built over a previous temple of the pre-Romanesque period (founded around 761).
It is a temple of rectangular plan. with a single nave and a square apse. To the south it has an open portico. connecting the sacristy to the north of the nave. The bell gable is from 1905. consisting of two holes and ending in a pyramidal shape.
Inside. the nave is covered with a wooden structure. whereas in the chevet there is a barrel vault.
The decorative motifs focus on the apse (with corbels in which animal and plant figures are represented) and on the cornice. On the west side portal. imposts are located with geometric decorations. based on semicircles.
