17.- Church of Santa Eulalia de Ujo
Originally. the church of Uxo was a Romanesque temple built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Due to the construction of the railroad tracks right next to the building. it was demolished in 1922. A new neo-Romanesque historicist temple. in a different site from the original. taking advantage of several elements of the early church. like the portal (with capitals with vegetal and figurative decoration) or the Romanesque apse. kept in its original position. in a perpendicular line to the nave and aisles built in 1922. Another element was the Romanesque triumphal arch of the interior of the temple. which gives way to the new apse.
