18.- Chapel. palace and tower of the Muñiz family and bridge of Olloniego
Palace developed around an old defensive circular tower built in the 13th century. The palatine construction has a square tower built in the 17th or 18th century at the other end of the enclosure. joined to the circular tower by an intermediate passage of two floors.
Through this bridge passed the Way of Saint James until a flood in 1676 modified the course of the Nalón river. which stopped flowing under the arches of this construction in 1145.
The configuration of the bridge dates back to the 14th century due to the pointing of its arches. At this point a toll was charged. controlled by the great ecclesiastical and monastic institutions of Oviedo.
It has been a Cultural Interest Site since 199
